A director...an actor...a teacher...
Bobby Farquhar has spent a lifetime in the arts. From starting out as a professional ballet dancer, Bobby went on to acting; from acting to producing, to agent, to directing, to filmmaking and writing. The span of Bobby's career has seen him travel through Britain, throughout Europe, and to Australia where he now calls home.
Nowadays, Bobby is principal of the National Acting School, tutoring students in the complex profession that is acting. Many of his students have gone on to portray leads roles across the globe, from Home and Away, Neighbours, and Blue Water High, to Disney shows and feature films. The balance of Bobby's time in the arts is spent teaching a martial art called Kempo Karate, and has received many awards both as a teacher and as an athlete. Bobby has also taught Australian Defence Force Academy students and officers from the Navy, Airforce, Army and SAS. Bobby is currently a certified boxing Coach in the ACT, and can regularly be found instructing the craft at none other than Farquhar's Boxing (based in Canberra).
